V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a .NET Developer for our premier client in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a contract-to-hire position in the public-sector industry.

U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Our client is unable to sponsor at this time or work on a C2C basis.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Technical Requirements and/or Certifications »

• Technical skills must include: C#, ASP.NET, .NET core, MVC, AngularJS 2, jQuery/jQuery UI, Web API, Web Services, LINQ and Entity Framework, HTML5/CSS, OOD and design patterns, unit testing frameworks, SQL Server and Oracle
• MCP certification in C# and .NET framework is preferred

Education and Experience »

• An undergraduate degree in computer science or related area of study
• At least 2-5 years of experience developing applications in a .NET environment
• Experience in the design, development and unit testing of .NET applications and Web Services
• Experience with Agile development practices and Scrum methodology
• Experience with MVC and AngularJS is required
• Working experience with Source Control Management tools like Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »

• Good level of knowledge in one or more of the following Windows technology areas is preferred – distributed application architecture, BI dashboards
• Knowledge of database modeling and data structure principles, techniques and best practices
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal consultation from Architect/Lead
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities »

• Work with the team to analyze, design, develop, deploy and support web applications to meet business and technical requirements
• Write complex SQL queries and develop stored procedures and functions in SQL Server and Oracle environment
• Perform code reviews and unit testing
• Responsible for the maintenance of existing applications
