V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a MuleSoft Solutions Architect for our premier client in Houston, Texas. This is a short-term contract position.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Education and Experience »

• Real-world experience helping define enterprise solutions, mapping existing systems to them, and defining how to close gaps
• Deep, hands-on experience in cloud architectures (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, distributed systems) and approaches to address their unique management and security considerations
• Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of robust, scalable architectures that encompass technology, business, application, security, integration and data requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »

• Track record of significant, ideally game-changing innovation and creativity
• Strong affinity for being on the cutting edge of technology – always seek out new directions and emerging trends
• An affinity for a strong company culture with smart teammates that care about making a huge impact
• Expertise with enterprise software integration technologies and strategies
• Strong understanding of API protocols and technologies
• Hands-on mentality

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities »

• Work on building and improving vital integrations and APIs that drive our client’s business, as well as drive solid data architecture practices
• Map systems of record and rate importance of the data objects in core systems
• Own and drive the integration strategy for corporate data
• Provide experience and strategy in prioritizing integrations
• Build integrations to automate business processes
• Interview business process owners and refine integration build processes from inception to production
• Review existing integrations and meet with associated business process owners
• Define requirements from business process owners for future integrations and rank the relative importance
• Collaborate with internal integration developers on in-flight integrations
• Develop internal APIs for business applications and processes
