V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Security Compliance & Governance Analyst for our premier client in Madison, Wisconsin.  This is a long-term contract position in the financial services industry.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:  

Education and Experience » 

• Audit experience
• Cloud experience
• Experience managing security and/or compliance audits, preferably in an Insurance organization
• Experience with Cyber Security frames is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience in security compliance and governance of project management, systems analysis, and Stockholders/customer interactions required
• Experience in Suppliers Security Risk, Security Standards/controls and Regulatory Risk
• Experience with Scripting is highly desirable ex: Python or Perl
• Experience running metrics/ understanding metrics

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation/facilitation skills
• Planning and organizational skills
• Understanding of IT Contracts / Negotiation Skills

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

Job Responsibilities » 

• Document and communicate security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures. Ensure documentation is complete, up-to-date, and applicable to our environment. These may include user authentication rules, security auditing procedures, and use of firewalls
• Evaluate current and potential legal and regulatory requirements affecting information security and privacy that impact company environment and practices
• Provide risk assessments, supplier assessments, security contract negotiations, security awareness communications, facilitation of internal and external audits, and preparation of audit reports for review by Security Management
