V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sr. .NET Developer for our premier client in Austin, Texas. This is a contract position in the healthcare industry.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Education and Experience »

• 5+ years of software design and development experience using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Web Forms, Node.js, JavaScript, jQuery, MS SQL Server, and experience developing large-scale web applications using a .NET framework
• Experience analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts
• Experience with application development, complex code development, application testing and component design
• Experience developing client premise-based and/or web-based software solutions
• Experience with MVC ASP.NET  
• Experience working with large teams
• Experience with QNXT Enterprise Core Administration Claims Software is preferred, but not required
• Experience with PLEXIS Healthcare Systems software is preferred, but not required
• Experience with NHibernate or Entity Framework is preferred, but not required
• Experience with Facets Claims Software is preferred, but not required
• Experience with performance tuning is preferred, but not required
• Experience with Medicaid is preferred, but not required
• Experience with Web API is preferred, but not required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »

• Proficiency in WCF, Web Services (ASMX) and SSIS technologies
• Solid written and spoken English communication skills
• Self-motivated and responsible
• Ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences
• Ability to travel as required

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities »

• Perform basic support and debugging functions while maintaining existing applications
• Contribute to our client’s solution knowledge repository and may be responsible for program and/or staff management as needed
• Participate in all phases of projects from defining technical, operational and user requirements, to planning, quality control and testing
• Create conceptual architecture and develop solution options against the design
• Partner with cross-functional technology teams to integrate solutions
• Coordinate with offshore resources as needed
