V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Full-Stack Engineer for our premier client in Merrimack, New Hampshire. This is a 6-month contract position in the financial services industry.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Technical Requirements and Certifications »

• SOAP/REST Web Services
• JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS
• Continuous Integration/Jenkins/Stash/Git
• Unit Testing/Jasmine
• Application Framework/Spring
• API Management and API Cloud
• SOA and microservices
• Knowledge of JSON document (swagger doc)
• Knowledge with Apache Solr/Lucene and Oracle DB is a plus

Education and Experience »

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• 3-5 years of development experience with strong working knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Experience with Spring-WS and Spring REST Web Service framework is required
• Experience with Java 8, Spring-WS and Spring Boot is required
• Experience with Jira and Agile development
• Formal project life cycle methodology experience – Waterfall and Agile

• Responsible for the design and implementation of software solutions that meet requirements and are aligned to the project/program strategic direction
• Adhere to engineering best practices and participate in design and code reviews
• Work as part of a team in a collaborative environment to deliver an exceptional experience for clients
• Understanding of building net new UIs, as well as integrating with other applications and services
• Help maintain code quality, security, organization and automation
