V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a GHX/ERP Specialist for our premier client in Chicago, Illinois. This is a long-term contract position in the healthcare industry.  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:  

 Technical Requirements and Certifications »

• Detailed knowledge Healthcare EDI transaction sets:  850,855,856,832 and 810
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with root-cause analysis techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (Advanced knowledge of data analysis, manipulation, and maintenance formulas), Access, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Education and Experience » 

• Associate Degree or relevant work experience equivalent (more than 5 years in healthcare supply chain) Experience in GHX, Lawson, Oracle or comparable systems

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities » 

• Strong Analytical Skills
• Knowledge of the Supply Chain Management business function; Procurement Policies and Procedures; and a Healthcare SCM Data Management Best Practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to research, and problem-solving skills
• Project management and knowledge of healthcare item content
• Results oriented, independent worker with great attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Must be self-driven

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

Job Responsibilities » 

• Data Steward of SCM Master Data including Item Master, Inventory Control, Logistics, and Sourcing detail
• Quality Analysis and Control of organizational SCM content
• Detailed knowledge of GHX ecommerce platform including: Order Center, Registration Center, NuVia, and Procurement Suite
• Continuously monitor and update catalog and pricing data between CCHHS data and primary distributor to keep business in sync
• Data Mining and Analysis of large data sets
• Serve as a coordinator and liaison between CDM team and master data item management team
• Train end-users in Procure to Pay (P2P) processes and related systems
• Monitors and works with IT to maintain various interfaces and data exchange programs (Oracle, EDI, GHX, GPO, Pyxis, Cerner, etc.), insuring all needed data are being transmitted without error
• Assist in Analyzing and Reporting SCM related data to support Value Analysis, Strategic Sourcing, PAR Level Analysis, etc.
• Coordinate with Supplier Master management team as necessary for SCM related vendor changes
