V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking a Lead Analyst – Integration Development for our premier client in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Technical Requirements and/or Certifications »

• MuleSoft Architect certification is highly desirable
• Proficiency in the software development lifecycle processes and tools (Source Control, Continuous Integration, Deployment Management).
• Proficiency in comparing and contrasting different integration options based on past experience and ability to extrapolate from known metrics and scalability patterns
• Proficiency in choosing among different integration mechanisms: real time, service-based, batch-oriented, message-based etc.

Education and Experience »

• A Bachelor's Degree in an Information Sciences or Engineering area with relevant coursework in computer programming applications (a Master’s Degree is a plus)
• 3 years of Java development experience
• 2 years of UNIX/Linux experience
• Experience with a major integration software platform is required
• Experience with additional environments (SnapLogic, BEA WebLogic, WebMethods, etc.) is a plus
• MuleSoft experience is highly desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »

• Ability to mentor other technical resources in area of software expertise, including code and architecture reviews
• Ability to interact and oversee small remote and virtual technical teams

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities »

• Develop and evolve frameworks, designs and patterns in software, primarily focused on integrating large enterprise software packages using modern tools and methodologies
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating integration requirements, problem definition, solution development and proposed solutions
• Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, collaborating with architects and support teams, studying system flows, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming
• Analyze the interfaces of the systems that need to be integrated, document the options for integration, make recommendations, prototype solutions when required, and own and oversee implementations through development, test and production milestones
