V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer to work out of our Chicago, Illinois office. This is a full-time, direct hire position within the V-Soft team.  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:  

 Technical Requirements and Certifications »

• Adequate technical experience on ServiceNow and scripting knowledge
• Awareness on the event management process in ServiceNow using REST web services
• Certified in ServiceNow Foundations/ServiceNow System Administrator
• Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
• Certified Application Developer

Education and Experience » 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, at minimum 
• Deep ITSM experience
• Experience with Catalog Items/Record Producers in Service Request Management
• Experience with CMDB/Change/Incident/Problem/Knowledge/SDLC/Orchestration/ITOM

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities » 

• Analytical skills and knowledge on Business Intelligence
• Good Communication skills
• Good people management skills

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

Job Responsibilities » 

• Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include modifications of applications, forms, workflow, interfaces and any other customization required to support ITIL processes
• Configure emails and events to trigger notifications as required
• Report creation for generating reports and visualizing it on Dashboards
• Adhere to the coding standards to achieve optimized performance
• Enhance existing ServiceNow modules (e.g. Service Management, Service Request Management, Knowledge Base etc.) based on process owner’s needs
• Develop creating business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI Macros, forms and notifications as part of the Service Design Process
• Improve existing processes using automation and scripting
• Develop new modules and applications within ServiceNow
• User Creation, Table modification, Connectivity Checking between integration, Workflow Tracking
